Hall Hire and Room Bookings
Our churches have a variety of rooms available to rent. Please follow the links below for more information:

Church Licenses
A standard license is used for regular but part-time non-exclusive use of Methodist premises by third parties, e.g. a yoga class or a nursery.
​
For one-off bookings like a children's birthday party, a booking form may be more appropriate.
​

All licenses should now be completed by individual churches, rather than the circuit office.​
License process:

Download the latest version of the standard license from TMCP
​
​
Enter the hirer and booking details
​
​
Get the license signed by the hirer
​
​
Get the license signed on behalf of the church trustees
​
​
Send a copy to the circuit office by post or email.
If the licence being issued is for worship by another Christian group, you will also need to complete a Schedule 14a form.

Training Policy
The Circuit Training Policy sets out the basis on which grants can be claimed for training and other courses of study for ministers and deacons and well as church members in the Circuit. Applications for grants should be made on the Learning and Development Grant Application form.
Grants from the Model Trust Fund
The Circuit Meeting are the managing trustees of the Circuit Model Trust Fund and may make grants out of the fund to local Churches for building projects, ministry and mission projects or other Methodist purposes approved by the Circuit Meeting. Applications for grants from the Circuit Model Trust Fund should be made using the Grant Application Proforma.

The Induction Pack for Circuit Stewards sets out the role and function within the Circuit of Circuit Stewards. Note that Circuit Stewards have responsibilities at Circuit level, and are distinct from church stewards.
