Our Ministers
Rev Steve Day
Circuit Superintendent &
Minister at Greenford and Northolt Methodist churches
revstephenday@ealingtrinity.org.uk
Rev Steve joined Ealing Trinity in 2024 from the Croydon Circuit, where he and his wife, Rev Jane Day, have been based since 2019. The move across London is a relatively short one for Stephen and Jane, who served as mission partners with the Methodist Church Southern Africa between 2013 and 2019, in the city of Germiston near Johannesburg. While in Africa Stephen was a minister of Germiston Central Methodist Church and Jane was involved in issues of gender justice, leadership development and theological education.
Rev Ajay Singh
Minister at Acton Hill, Hanwell and King's Hall churches
Rev Ajay joined the Ealing Trinity Circuit in 2021, having moved to the UK from India in 2004 as a World Church Partner. Rev Ajay studied History, English and Political Science before coming to Church ministry, and has since become a Bachelor of Divinity (BD) in Theology. He served in the Indian Dioceses of Patna and Lucknow, before being received into Methodist Connexion in 2009, and then serving in Bristol for six years and Birmingham for two.
Rev Ajay joined our Circuit after feeling called to serve the Asian (Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi speaking) congregation of King’s Hall, Southall.
Rev Sue Male
Minister at Ealing Green and Kingsdown churches
Rev Sue has been a Minister in the Ealing Trinity Circuit for six years, after being stationed in Harrow and Hillingdon for ten. Prior to that she was bringing up young children, and before that she worked as an Infant School teacher in London.
Sue's husband Phil is also a local preacher in the Circuit.
Sue loves the many opportunities that ministry offers to build good relationships with people, and to help others to grow in their journeys with God. In this respect she thinks she has remained a teacher alongside all the other aspects of ministry.
Sue also loves to learn herself and would feel that something was sorely missing from her life if she was not studying a module at London Jesuit Centre. She always has one on the go, be it about philosophy, theology, prayer or Bible study. They take up about 3 hours a week, keep Sue on her toes, give her opportunities to meet with others, and inform her as she then uses what she has learned in her ministry with others.
Sue loves mentoring people at different stages of Ministry and is an accredited Reflective Supervisor in the Methodist Church.
